Diving Observation Diary 10.2: 1. Yesterday was probably a pretty good day to farm on the bnbchain. If you were fully focused, pulling in a few thousand to 20-30k USD wouldn’t have been too hard, but overall the hype wasn’t that great. One token goes up, others go down. For example, the much-hyped $中国人能飞 (Chinese People Can Fly) has run out of steam, and the bottom seems to have an endless supply. Some addresses sell off their tokens, only to transfer in another batch. There aren’t many honest players like me sticking to a few obvious plays. Of course, the main issue is that there’s nothing new and exciting. 2. A bunch of altcoin meme tokens popped up. Movr and GTC rugged, but the craziest one is still the old $龙虾 (Lobster). The whales behind this one can manipulate the market at will. 3. As the number of on-chain players decreases, it’s clear that more and more funds are flowing into on-chain projects with strong offline community ties. These kinds of projects are good for sneaky farming but not for spreading the word. Did some calculations—after pulling out the principal from three projects, the remaining profits are close to 1M, and I don’t even have to watch it every day. Slow and steady has its perks.
