I'm not a whale, I just figured out some patterns. Why do patterns exist in the world of investing/speculation? Because they work every time, and behind these patterns lies human nature. Take creating FUD, for example. FUD can trigger panic, and panic makes retail investors sell at a loss and give up their chips. This trick works like a charm every time. Since it works, of course, the whales are happy to come up with new variations of FUD. Another example: after a big pump, there has to be a correction, or else the price can't go higher. This is almost inevitable, an unavoidable pattern. When the price pumps, retail investors naturally jump in, and the chip structure ends up with a lot of weak hands. Trying to push the price higher with all those weak hands is impossible—they'll sell as soon as you push, and it costs even more to keep pumping. So, the weak hands have to be shaken out first. The basic principles of market manipulation are just a few, and all the rest is just different ways of dressing them up.
