Wall Street's $1.7 trillion giant officially brings "tokenized assets" into crypto exchanges!
Franklin Templeton, managing $1.7 trillion in assets, has announced a partnership with Bybit,
bringing tokenized money market funds into the exchange ecosystem.
The real significance of this isn't just another traditional finance giant entering crypto.
It's that—
Traditional financial assets are directly moving on-chain.
Before, it was:
Fiat → Banks → Brokers → Funds
Now it's becoming:
Assets → Tokenization → Blockchain → Crypto Exchange
Stocks, bonds, money market funds, real estate...
In the future, more and more traditional assets could exist directly on-chain in tokenized form.
This is why I believe one of the biggest narratives for the next crypto cycle will be:
RWA (Real World Assets) isn't about replacing traditional finance—it's about bringing traditional finance on-chain.
Major asset management institutions like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton are steadily advancing in this direction, and exchanges are becoming key gateways between traditional finance and on-chain finance.
Many people still think of crypto as "coin trading."
But the truly massive market might just be starting—
It's not about crypto entering Wall Street.
It's about Wall Street being tokenized.
