Wu Blockchain has learned that the Hyperliquid Policy Committee (HPC) has submitted feedback to the European Commission's targeted consultation on the evolution of the MiCA framework, marking its first policy submission outside the United States. HPC urges the EU to make moderate adjustments based on the existing financial regulatory framework rather than starting from scratch. Key proposals include: adhering to the classification principle of 'technology neutrality and economic substance,' recommending that on-chain perpetual contracts be explicitly incorporated into the traditional financial instruments framework under MiFID II through existing ESMA guidelines without the need for additional legislation; emphasizing that perpetual contracts, matched via public central limit order books, differ from traditional contract-for-difference (CFD) products that rely on market maker hedging, and should not be subject to the same strict retail restrictions as CFDs; calling on regulators to recognize the inherent verifiability of public blockchains, exempting regulated entities from redundant reporting of on-chain publicly available data, and ensuring EU investors have access to global liquidity to maintain competitiveness. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/hyperliquid-policy-board-mica-feedback-eu-69367
