🚨MASSIVE: GPT-6 Astra reportedly cracked a 217-YEAR-OLD Napoleonic cipher in six hours, starting with one image and a single prompt. The message dates to 1809, ahead of Austria’s invasion, and had remained undeciphered until now. Astra also cross-referenced surrounding letters to correct its published date. The model transcribed 1,300 handwritten symbols, found a partial cipher key, and built its own solver to decode the rest. Historical cryptography researcher Satoshi Tomokiyo confirmed the solution and marked the cipher solved. The breakthrough helped recover military secrets buried in historical records for more than TWO CENTURIES.
