MetaMask Staking is proactively exiting its Ethereum validators operating on Lido following an investigation into an infrastructure breach. Security researcher Cos (余弦) stated that when such staking nodes encounter issues, the ETH principal is generally unaffected, though staking rewards may be impacted.
