[Renzo Responds to MetaMask Security Incident, Stating Basis Risks and Liquidity Are Fully Verifiable On-Chain] In response to the MetaMask infrastructure security incident, Renzo Finance stated that its newly launched Renzo Basis product does not concentrate risks and liquidity in stablecoins or vaults, and the relevant data can be fully verified on-chain. This means users do not need to rely on trust in Renzo to independently confirm whether they are affected by the incident. Renzo also noted that ezETH has been exclusively backed by native ETH since April 2026. Currently, only 214.75 stETH (accounting for 0.5%) in the withdrawal queue has valid claims. Previously, MetaMask announced that it was addressing a security incident affecting part of its infrastructure, but no immediate threats to the MetaMask wallet have been identified so far.
