ShinyHunters alleges the data includes names, phone numbers, addresses, and some spousal information, stating they accessed the system through a previously unknown vulnerability in Oracle PeopleSoft. The FBI is investigating the incident but has not yet confirmed the scale of the data breach or the method of intrusion. Brett Leatherman, head of the FBI's cyber division, released a video on September 29 referencing a prior arrest operation conducted by Dutch police and urged the group to proactively contact the FBI.
