Foresight News reports that the RWA trading platform Ostium on Arbitrum has tweeted updates on the recovery progress following the July 15 attack and has launched a recovery portal. Ostium has taken a snapshot of OLP balances at the time of the incident, identifying 3,666 affected wallets. In the first phase of the recovery plan, 3,321 wallets (90.59%) are eligible to fully recover verified losses. Users with losses of no more than 1,000 USDC can claim full compensation by December 29. Users with losses exceeding 1,000 USDC must choose by October 30 to either claim 1,000 USDC and forfeit the remaining portion or participate in the second phase proportional recovery plan. Those who do not make a choice will automatically be included in the second phase. Funds for the second phase will come from the stolen funds recovered later and a certain percentage of protocol revenue, with specific details to be announced by October 30. Currently, Ostium has recovered approximately 650,000 USDC from the attacker, and the remaining assets in the OLP treasury are about 30% of the pre-incident holdings value. Foresight News previously reported that Ostium's off-chain infrastructure was hacked on July 15, resulting in the extraction of approximately 23.75 million USDC from the OLP treasury.
