According to Cointelegraph citing Chainalysis data, in the year ending June 2026, Singapore's crypto economic activity grew 55.4% year-over-year to $284 billion, reclaiming its position as the largest crypto economy in Central, South Asia, and Oceania (CSAO), while overall activity in the region declined by 6.8% during the same period. Institutional platform activity in Singapore surged 94% to $60 billion, driven primarily by large transactions from a few market makers, OTC trading firms, and institutional brokers. Additionally, small-scale P2P activity in the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam stood out, with a combined 5.4 million P2P transfers under $10,000, accounting for 14.4% of global transactions in this category.
