[The Strengthening of the US Dollar Has Limited Impact on Bitcoin, with Weak Correlation Between the Two]
The US Dollar Index (DXY) has risen approximately 2.6% since September 9, reaching a two-month high of 101.69 this week. Over the past 90 trading days, the daily correlation coefficient between BTC and DXY is -0.41, with an R² of only 0.17. Since January 2020, the 90-day average correlation has been as low as -0.14. BTC's price has declined from its September 21 high of approximately $87,500 to the $83,000–$84,000 range, with limited downside movement.
