According to Wu Blockchain, Solv Protocol tweeted that the recent discussions surrounding the BTC+ redemption incident are an isolated case triggered by a single transaction undergoing risk review. The BTC+ subscription and redemption mechanisms are still functioning normally, and the related assets remain securely stored within the protocol, without being transferred, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of.
Previously, an X user @neillee99 posted that they withdrew approximately 50 BTC from Binance on July 8 and converted it to BTC+ via SolvBTC. However, following the security incident on July 13, their address has been unable to redeem the funds. The user stated that despite submitting documentation such as proof of funds, transaction records, and wallet control evidence as required, and exchanging around 60 emails with the project team, the issue remains unresolved.
Solv Protocol responded that it will continue to review the case based on verifiable information and evidence, following its established risk management procedures. If necessary, it will cooperate with legal advisors or relevant judicial processes for further verification. The protocol emphasized that it will not make judgments based solely on social media identities or unilateral public statements.
On July 13, Solv Protocol's BTC+ contract on the BNB Smart Chain was attacked due to a deployer private key leak.
