OpenAI released its AI assistant Dots yesterday, and the name has left quite a few people confused. The product is called Dots, but when referring to a single assistant, the official name is Dot. One of the reasons behind this is that when you enter (dot.com) as a domain, it redirects to the download page for Musk's own AI assistant, Grok Bot. They acquired this domain back in July this year, successfully pulling off a domain snipe.
