Two sources stated that Qatari officials will continue their mediation efforts but are increasingly frustrated with both the US and Iran. One source commented, "Monday's negotiations did not achieve significant progress, and talks have reached an impasse. Iran has made demands that the US cannot accept, while the US believes it holds the upper hand and sees no need to compromise." Other regional mediators, including Pakistan and Egypt, have also urged Iran to make concessions on nuclear issues.
