Today at GWDC 2026 Korea, @primus_labs co-founder and CEO @xxiang_xie said something that really resonated with me: Privacy is the final piece of the puzzle for blockchain finance, especially for stablecoins to achieve mass adoption. He emphasized two key points: 1. Primus focuses on confidentiality (hiding amounts), not anonymity. 2. Selective disclosure: Default privacy with the ability to audit when necessary. This strikes a balance between privacy and regulation and could very well become the mainstream approach. It also highlights the current state of on-chain activity—everything on-chain is public, which is transparent for retail users but creates barriers for institutions. March: Partnered with BNB Chain and Brevis to launch ZKredit. The name says it all: ZK + Credit. June: zkTLS verification layer went live on BNB Chain. Off-chain data can be verified as authentic without revealing the raw data. August: Secured investment from YZi Labs. Now: Confidential Finance powered by FHE is live on BNB Chain. Assets can be held, transferred, and earn yields in an encrypted manner. 10/2 BNB Seoul—Primus will also be there.
