[Zcash Integrates Tachyon Acceleration Code into Zakura Common, Aiming for Over 50,000 Private Transactions Per Second] According to a report by CoinDesk on September 29, Zcash's development team has begun integrating the accelerated private payment code from the scaling project Tachyon into the shared cryptographic library Zakura Common. The new component, Udon, was released to the library this Monday (September 28) and was developed by the Tachyon team led by Sean Bowe. This library is responsible for generating and verifying private transaction proofs, and it has already reduced the time required to create a single proof from over 3 seconds to under 200 milliseconds. Tachyon aims to merge multiple payment proofs to reduce node load, with a long-term goal of achieving over 50,000 private transactions per second. Currently, the daily average is only about 6,200 shielded transactions. This upgrade has not yet been activated on the Zcash mainnet.
