[Zcash Developers Introduce Tachyon Code into Zakura Common, Aiming for Over 50,000 Private Transactions Per Second] Odaily Planet Daily News: Zcash developers are integrating parts of the scaling project Tachyon's code into the Zakura Common cryptography library, with a new component named Udon released on Monday. Tachyon lead Sean Bowe stated that Udon, previously developed as part of Tachyon, has now been added to Zakura Common to leverage the library's existing performance optimizations. Bowe and Valar Group lead Dev Ojha have set a long-term goal of achieving over 50,000 private transactions per second. Tachyon aims to reduce the amount of data Zcash nodes need to receive and verify by combining proofs for multiple transactions into a single proof. However, this upgrade has not yet been implemented on the Zcash network. According to ZecStats data, the average daily number of Zcash transactions involving private funds over the 7 days ending September 28 was approximately 6,200, down from an average of about 11,700 over the 7 days ending September 21.
