Youtube Live Translation Tool (Especially for Federal Reserve Meetings) I don’t think I need to explain the importance of the Federal Reserve meetings, but the live streams on Youtube are all in English, and of course, there are no subtitles. Even though there are some tools that can translate, they’re super expensive, and it’s still hard to understand the financial terms used by the Fed Chair. Half of the translated content ends up being guesswork. So, I created a small tool specifically for translating Federal Reserve meetings. It includes specialized vocabulary for the Fed and is made into a Chrome plugin. For now, this version requires you to use your own ChatGPT integration. I made a video showing the translation results, feel free to check it out. Here’s what it can do: first, it translates; second, you can choose between a simplified version or a detailed version. It also supports dividing the content into different time segments, which can be understood as delays. Each segment can be copied and pasted, and it can be shared across any platform. Of course, there’s also a full content export feature. If there’s anything else you need, let me know, and I’ll add it. For those who don’t have ChatGPT, I’m still working on a solution. Once I figure it out, I’ll update it. Recently, Token usage has been skyrocketing, but I’ve always wanted to create tools that are free and genuinely helpful for everyone.
