Between September 21 and September 27, Strategy spent a total of $142.7 million to purchase 1,665 Bitcoins, with an average buying price of approximately $85,681 per Bitcoin. During this period, 1,469,165 shares of MSTR common stock were sold on the market via ATM, raising net proceeds of about $246.2 million, with no preferred shares sold.
As of September 27, MSTR's Bitcoin:native holdings increased to 847,666 Bitcoins, with a total acquisition cost of approximately $6.395 billion and an average holding price of about $75,437 per Bitcoin.
Over the past week, MSTR also spent $151.7 million to repurchase 1,534,530 shares of STRC, with an average repurchase price of approximately $98.86 per share based on disclosed amounts. All funds used to purchase Bitcoin this week came from the net proceeds of selling MSTR common stock. For the STRC buyback, $103.5 million of the proceeds were used, along with an additional $48.1 million in existing cash.
The combined expenditure for buying Bitcoin and repurchasing STRC totaled approximately $294.4 million. After the buyback, the remaining authorization for the preferred stock repurchase plan stands at $723.5 million, while the MSTR common stock repurchase plan has an additional $1 billion available. This week, MSTR also utilized $22.1 million in reserves to pay preferred stock dividends.
As of September 27, the dollar reserves available to support preferred stock dividends and debt interest payments amount to $5.02 billion, along with $1 billion in cash that can be used for Bitcoin purchases, replenishing dollar reserves, and other capital management purposes, totaling approximately $6.02 billion.
