[Goldman Sachs: AI Switch Market Forecast Raised, ANET and CLS Rated Buy]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, citing Tide Research, Goldman Sachs' research report dated September 28, 2026, stated that 650 Group has raised its forecast for the AI Ethernet data center switch market in 2030 to approximately $100 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 65% from 2025 to 2030. The AI server market is expected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2030, an increase of about 4% compared to previous estimates. The traditional data center switch market forecast for 2026 to 2030 has been raised by an average of 42%.
Goldman Sachs predicts Arista Networks (ANET) will achieve Q3 2026 revenue of $3.48 billion and earnings per share (EPS) of $1.11, both exceeding market consensus. Celestica (CLS) is expected to report Q3 2026 revenue of $5.36 billion, in line with expectations, while EPS is adjusted downward to $2.85 due to dilution from a $3 billion equity issuance. F5 Networks (FFIV) is projected to report Q4 2026 revenue of $894 million, surpassing market consensus.
Goldman Sachs believes AI network demand has been underestimated, with ANET and CLS being the primary beneficiaries. ANET maintains a Buy rating with a target price of $225; CLS also maintains a Buy rating, with EPS forecasts for 2027 and 2028 exceeding market consensus. FFIV retains a Neutral rating with a target price of $400. Campus network spending has been simultaneously revised upward, with WLAN and enterprise switches raised by approximately 6% and 8%, respectively.
