Wu Blockchain has learned that MistTrack, the on-chain tracking platform under SlowMist, reported that the attacker behind the Bitget security incident previously attempted to transfer stolen funds to the cross-chain DEX protocol Chainflip for laundering. However, the deposit was directly rejected by the relevant broker. On-chain processing results show that the funds were not frozen by the protocol but were instead returned to the original address, preventing the attacker from successfully using this channel for money laundering.
