This always comes up as an interesting question. I think it depends. If you hate your job, then you should definitely quit. Why? Because, after months of playing your favorite video games, testing all the newest gadgets, doing every sport, etc., it's very likely that you realize that only doing hobbies, or leisure activities can be a bit boring in the length. In fact, it's very likely that you will find another job, or even try to create something yourself. The thing is that most people who are capable of getting to $5m were never really motivated by comfort in the first place. Because the personality that allows you to make money in the first place prevents you from stopping working (in some form) once you become rich. I've also reflected on this a lot over the years, on why I am not quitting crypto, just leave it all for good. But why would I? I earn money from it, it's stimulating, I am learning things, talking with people, and yeah it's also a hobby and it makes time pass. And to end this, I am still coming back to this tweet by Rhino, now more than 3,5 years later. Something I have been thinking about a lot myself after Nov 2024 (when IMO was the point I "made" it...there is always a next level though). The counterpoint is (and prob why Rhino is also still playing in crypto) that why do you want to quit a game you're good at?
