🚨 Chainlink Hits 2026 High, Small Holders Showing Signs of Taking Profits
🚀 Chainlink just reached a 2026 high of $14.89, capping a sharp recovery from below $7 in June. The move came even as the holder count eased to 912,020 non-empty wallets, suggesting some smaller traders used the rally to cash out.
💪 That drop in holders isn’t automatically negative. When price rises while some retail wallets exit, stronger hands may be absorbing the supply instead of chasing the move late. LINK’s remaining holder base is still near historic highs after expanding steadily throughout 2026.
🧑💻 Chainlink also launched CCIP 2.0 today, giving applications more control over cross-chain security while retaining Chainlink’s default verifier network. It’s a major infrastructure upgrade for a project already handling more than $24B in cumulative CCIP transfer volume. CoinDesk
🏦 Institutional adoption keeps adding fuel. Coinbase recently selected Chainlink as the oracle infrastructure for its tokenized stocks, while Wyoming expanded its use of Chainlink for the state-backed FRNT stable token. Those integrations strengthen the case for LINK as infrastructure connecting crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional finance.
