AI Assistant Instinct Completes $1 Billion Series C Financing, Valuation Reaches $10 Billion

According to a report by TechCrunch on September 28, as cited by Jinse Finance, AI assistant startup Instinct has completed a $1 billion Series C financing round. Investors include Sequoia Capital, Benchmark, and Coatue, with a post-money valuation of $10 billion. This comes just about a month after its August 26 announcement of a $350 million funding round (valued at $2.5 billion). The company only launched its invite-only service in August 2026. Instinct uses its own phone numbers and computers to execute tasks and has introduced features like a "concierge" for making calls on behalf of users and a "trusted network" system. Founder Noah Shinn stated that the goal is to create a personal intelligent agent to handle the subtle needs of daily life. The report also mentions that Instinct is facing competition from Meta's assistant, Muse.
