The new version builds upon the existing network of 16 independent node validators, allowing institutions and developers to add custom security checks during cross-chain asset and information transfers. It supports running self-operated validators or integrating third-party service providers (such as Infosys and Nethermind) to reduce the risk of single points of failure in cross-chain bridges. Additionally, the original independent "Risk Management Network" has been replaced by an optional validation module, and existing users have been automatically migrated to the new version.
