According to CoinDesk, Franklin Templeton has expanded its off-chain collateral program to Bybit. Users can use tokenized money market fund shares as collateral to obtain USDT or USDC trading credit lines while continuing to earn returns on the underlying assets. The net asset value of the related fund shares is approximately $686 million and will be custodied off-exchange through ByCustody. Its value is mapped to the Bybit trading environment without transferring the underlying assets to the exchange. The shares are issued via Franklin Templeton's Benji platform, with a current 7-day annualized yield of about 3.7%.
