**[Franklin Templeton Expands Tokenized Collateral Service to Bybit]**
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 28, according to CoinDesk, asset management firm Franklin Templeton announced the expansion of its "Off-Exchange Collateral Program" to cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. Through this collaboration, platform investors can pledge tokenized money market fund shares, with a net asset value of approximately $686 million, as collateral to borrow USDT or USDC trading credit, while continuing to earn returns on the underlying assets during the pledge period (latest 7-day annualized yield approximately 3.7%). The underlying assets will be held in off-exchange custody by the regulated custodian ByCustody, without the need for direct transfers to the Bybit exchange. The collateral value will be mapped to the trading system to provide liquidity support. Previously, Franklin Templeton had established similar collateral partnerships with Binance and OKX.
