Bitget, 8 years in operation, and this is the only security incident we've ever had. After a thorough investigation, we found that the hacker exploited a vulnerability in a third-party security product to steal internal network access credentials. By forging withdrawal commands to the wallet system, they tricked the wallet into executing abnormal transfers that bypassed risk checks, ultimately completing the attack. The private keys of the hot and warm wallets, as well as the cold wallet, were not affected by this attack. Completed rectifications: 1. The affected systems have been isolated, and the vulnerabilities have been fixed. 2. All related servers have been disconnected from the network to prevent the attack from spreading, and evidence has been preserved for tracing. 3. All internal login credentials have been invalidated and reissued, while high-sensitivity permissions have been fully revoked and restructured. 4. The vulnerability details have been reported to the relevant third-party security vendors to assist in analysis and fixes. Related functions have been disabled until the fixes are completed. 5. All withdrawals now require independent verification, with strengthened withdrawal validation. Regarding the issues with third-party security products, we have commissioned Mandiant and SlowMist to conduct investigations.
