Compound community member @ugurmersin posted accusing the Compound Foundation of improperly using the 8.42 million DAI reserve managed by the DAO. Citing on-chain records, they claimed that these DAI were transferred to an exchange and converted into approximately 344,780 COMP, then sent back to the relevant Safe, with voting rights delegated to the Foundation's address to participate in governance voting before the deadlines for Proposal 580 and 582. They stated that Proposal 536 previously stipulated that the funds in question remain entirely owned by the DAO and could only be used for protocol operations, not for independent trading or speculative activities.
