[U.S.-Iran Negotiations Stall, U.S. Treasury Yields Rise]
Odaily Planet Daily News: As U.S.-Iran peace negotiations stall, oil prices have risen during the day, and U.S. Treasury yields have climbed, currently nearing recent multi-year highs but still slightly below that level. Peace negotiation representatives are urging Iran to make concessions on its nuclear program to facilitate the resumption of ceasefire talks with the U.S. Previously, U.S. President Trump rejected a ceasefire proposal put forward by Iran. According to Tradeweb data, the yield on the U.S. 2-year Treasury note rose by 4.4 basis points to 4.907%; the 10-year Treasury yield increased by 2.8 basis points to 5.208%; and the 30-year Treasury yield climbed by 1.7 basis points to 5.518%.
