It pointed out that virtual currencies have become a key tool for criminals engaging in various illegal activities, fostering multiple security risks, including being a 'hotbed' for money laundering crimes, a 'shield' for cyberattacks, and an 'accomplice' to espionage and data theft. However, the so-called 'anonymity' of virtual currencies is fundamentally a fallacy. Blockchain technology retains complete transaction records and other data, providing a basis for full-chain traceability. By examining the ledger, transaction traces are left throughout the process; by investigating the chain, true identities are hard to conceal; and when it comes to private keys, there is no ultimate safeguard for asset security.
