[Bitwise Survey: None of the 15 Surveyed Institutions Reduced Crypto Exposure During Bitcoin's Halving]
According to a report by CryptoPotato on September 27, as cited by Jinse Finance, a Bitwise survey of 15 institutional investors revealed that during the market downturn of approximately 50% between Q4 2025 and Q2 2026, none of the institutions reduced their crypto asset allocations. The surveyed institutions' crypto allocations ranged from 0.5% to 13% of investable assets, with most falling between 1% and 2%. Their exposure was distributed across ETFs, direct holdings, venture capital, and hedge funds. Some institutions maintained their existing targets, while others continued to work on increasing allocations. Additionally, some investors shifted to more liquid instruments and adopted market-neutral strategies to reduce volatility and facilitate internal approvals. Bitwise noted that the focus of discussions has shifted from 'whether to allocate' to 'how much to allocate.'
