[Long.xyz Founder: Aiming to Reduce Short-Term PVP Within the Ecosystem and Build an Asset System for Long-Term Holders]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Long.xyz founder Nate posted on X, stating that the design goal of Long.xyz is not centered around a specific meme, AI, or market trend, but rather to minimize the risk of asset failure caused by single factors through continuous iteration. He believes that one of the main issues in the current crypto market is the lack of trust and long-term holding expectations. A large number of assets may go to zero in a short period, while in reality, a significant portion of users wish to hold assets for the long term. However, the market lacks platforms that can consistently provide such assets.
Nate emphasized that Long.xyz focuses on balancing different factors: on one hand, maintaining deep liquidity, while on the other, preserving the potential for assets to achieve high returns. Assets need to have meme attributes but cannot be purely meme-based. The development team can drive the project but cannot be the sole support; the community also needs to participate collectively.
Additionally, Long.xyz plans to integrate assets with RWA (Real World Assets), U.S. stock catalysts, and AI, aiming to mitigate the impact of major crypto asset crashes on the ecosystem while not completely detaching from crypto market cycles.
In terms of ecosystem mechanisms, Long.xyz seeks to reduce purely short-term PVP between assets while still retaining competition between different assets and strategies. Nate stated that the overall approach of Long.xyz is to first ensure the survival of assets, then act quickly and iterate continuously, finding a balance between daily tactical adjustments and long-term goals.
