🇧🇷JUST IN: Brazil will report every crypto transfer of $10,000 or more to or from a self-custody wallet, starting October 1.
Key points:
Regulated crypto firms must report these transfers to Coaf, Brazil's financial intelligence unit.
It applies to both withdrawals to self-custody wallets and deposits from them.
It's a reporting rule, not a ban or a cap on transfers.
From January 2027, firms must also hold transfers above $10,000 to self-custody wallets for up to 24 hours.
