[Putin: Ukraine must understand that any provocation or escalation will only worsen its situation]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on September 26, citing TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a statement on September 25 during an interview with reporters regarding Ukraine's attacks on civilian facilities within Russian territory. According to information released by the Kremlin, when asked about issues related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Putin mentioned Ukraine's recent attacks on Russian oil refineries, e-commerce platform warehouses, and other civilian facilities, stating that Russia has responded. 'They must endure the retaliatory strikes carried out by Russia, and they must understand one thing: any provocation or escalation of the situation will not bring them the results they desire but will instead only worsen their situation.'
Additionally, according to reports from RIA Novosti and other media outlets, Putin also stated that proposals for resuming negotiations are 'on the table,' and there is a possibility of resuming talks. However, in light of Ukraine's recent attacks on Russia, Russia will carefully consider what measures should be taken. 'In any case, all decisions in this regard, including those related to the potential resumption of the negotiation process, will be based on the interests of the Russian Federation.'
