According to Iran’s arrangement, the U.S. is to take relevant actions within four to five days, reopen the Strait of Hormuz on the sixth day, and initiate negotiations on the seventh day to strive for a final agreement on mutually agreed topics. The seven days will start counting once the U.S. accepts the plan. Iran emphasized that the actions required of the U.S. have already been written into a memorandum of understanding, based on previous commitments. They also stressed that Iran will not give up its sovereignty under pressure, and diplomacy does not equate to surrender. They further stated that if the U.S. is genuinely willing to reach an agreement and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, everything is ready to proceed.
