According to The National, the UAE and Singapore are becoming key testing grounds for stablecoin cross-border payments and corporate treasury applications. Visa's Head of Digital Currency for Asia-Pacific stated that stablecoins are more likely to develop alongside the banking system rather than replace it. Binance Asia-Pacific Head SB Seker mentioned that the digital asset market in Asia-Pacific has grown by approximately 69%–70% year-on-year, and merchants are increasingly accepting stablecoin payments. Currently, Singapore already has applications like XSGD and tokenized deposits, while the UAE is advancing DDSC and digital dirham cross-border payments. However, industry insiders point out that compliance, forex conversion, liquidity, and local cash-out remain major obstacles for further development of the Middle East–Asia stablecoin payment corridor. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/uae-singapore-stablecoin-cross-border-payments-pilot-69005
