FED PLANS TO EASE OVERSIGHT FOR LARGE BANKS
The Fed is preparing to raise asset thresholds that trigger tougher bank regulation, Reuters reports.
The highest threshold could rise from $700 billion to around $960 billion, while some requirements starting at $100 billion could shift closer to $150 billion.
The changes would give regional banks more room to grow without additional regulatory costs and could unlock a new wave of bank M&A.(彭博社)
