[Researchers Propose Shielded Bitcoin Privacy Transaction Scheme to Hide Transaction Parties and Transfer Amounts] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 25, according to Decrypt, the Bitcoin cryptography development team [[alloc] init] released the Shielded Bitcoin design proposal. The aim is to implement privacy transactions similar to Zcash on the Bitcoin mainnet without modifying Bitcoin's existing consensus rules. The scheme uses encrypted Notes and zero-knowledge proofs to hide the sender, receiver, and transfer amount, while employing Nullifiers to prevent double-spending. However, the current proposal only covers transactions within the privacy system, and how BTC enters and exits the system has not been included in this design. The team plans to elaborate further in subsequent papers.
