Meanwhile, Polygon Labs executive Jamal Raees has been named General Manager of Payments. Raees previously worked at stablecoin infrastructure company Bridge and payment company Wyre. He will focus on connecting payment institutions and enterprises to expand Solana's payment infrastructure applications. The foundation disclosed that as of 2026, Solana's stablecoin transaction volume has exceeded $5 trillion, on-chain real-world assets have surpassed $4.5 billion, and tokenized stock supply has exceeded $620 million.
