🐋 WHALE WATCH : Why isnt Bitcoin dropping below 85k ? The answer lies in the $16 billion worth of contracts expiring on Friday. Yesterday as long as the price stayed above 85k I said this level would hold it. 85k held. Bitcoin is currently at 85845 dollars hovering right above the level. Selling pressure from above has decreased but the price hasnt risen. The price is squeezed between two walls and the lifespan of these walls is known. The lower wall is 85k. Here with every 1% drop net buying of 112 million dollars comes in around 1,300 Bitcoin. Yesterday this figure was 84 million meaning the wall thickened in one day. Thats why its gotten harder for the price to drop below 85k. The upper wall is 90k. Here with every 1% rise 96 million dollars in selling comes in yesterday it was 118 million. The selling at 88k has halved. So the path upward has opened up a bit. If the path has opened, then why hasnt the price risen? Because the 85k price is pulling from both directions. Buying comes in on drops selling on rises. The largest contracts closest to the Friday expiration are also at 85k and 90k. In short when expiration hits this pull weakens and the price moves more freely. After that day there are two possibilities. If it breaks upward the first wall is 88k the main wall 90k. If 85k breaks the first support is 84k the final support 80k. In my view the direction is upward because the lower side strengthened while the upper side weakened. September 25 will either confirm or break this picture. This is my opinion not investment advice. I will keep watching the picture until expiration.
