According to Bits media, the Russian Central Bank announced on September 23 that it will expand the range of assets that unit investment funds (PIF/UIF) can invest in. Funds targeting qualified investors will be allowed to invest in cash-settled derivatives based on cryptocurrency prices. The relevant regulations have been registered with the Russian Ministry of Justice and will take effect 10 days after the official announcement, with some provisions excluded. Meanwhile, the Russian Central Bank has also relaxed the allocation scope for retail funds to include non-listed stocks, bonds, and other assets. However, the official announcement did not state that retail funds can directly purchase cryptocurrencies. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/the-russian-central-bank-expands-the-investment-scope-of-funds-and-qualified-investor-funds-can-invest-in-cash-settled-encrypted-derivatives-68913
