[PBOC Conducts 800 Billion MLF Operation, U.S. Treasury Yields Rise Across the Board] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 24, according to Jin10 Data, the People's Bank of China announced an 800 billion yuan Medium-term Lending Facility (MLF) operation on September 24 with a one-year term. Additionally, overnight reverse repo operations will be conducted from September 28 to October 8, with a daily operation limit of no more than 1 trillion yuan. The U.S. Treasury stated it will repurchase at least $4 billion and up to $6 billion in long-term Treasury bonds on Thursday. Influenced by macroeconomic policies and geopolitical developments, global financial market volatility has intensified. U.S. Treasury yields rose across the board by approximately 15 basis points (BP), with the 5-year yield surpassing the 5% threshold for the first time since 2007. The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) broke through 101, Brent crude oil surged 4%, while spot gold and silver fell by 1.6% and 3.9%, respectively. On the diplomatic front, high-level meetings were held between China and the U.S., Rubio met with the Russian Foreign Minister to discuss the possibility of a limited ceasefire, and tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
