[Stripe: Cross-Border Payment Volume of Chinese Enterprises Grows 48% in One Year] According to information obtained by Zhitong Finance from the U.S.-based global online payment service provider Stripe, the total payment volume it processes is expected to reach $1.9 trillion by 2025, a year-on-year increase of 34%, accounting for approximately 1.6% of global GDP. In the Chinese market, the total cross-border payment volume of Stripe's Greater China customers is projected to grow by about 48% between 2024 and 2025, while the number of startups in Greater China using Stripe is expected to increase by approximately 30% during the same period. Its users include OpenAI, Anthropic, DarkSide of the Moon, MiniMax, Luckin Coffee, Manus, and others. From the perspective of customer structure, Chinese enterprises expanding overseas still primarily target the European and American markets. Stripe's data shows that the top three global target markets for outbound enterprises from Greater China are the United States, Germany, and France. Outside of North America and the European Union, Brazil is the fastest-growing market for Chinese enterprise customers.
