[Meta Testing 'Human Concierge' Feature for Its New Personal AI Assistant Muse] According to a report by Golden Finance on September 23, internal company posts seen by Reuters reveal that Meta Platforms (META.O) is testing a 'human concierge' mode for its new AI personal assistant, Muse. This mode involves real customer service representatives discreetly answering some calls made through the digital assistant. Last week, the company introduced this test to employees, shortly after publicly launching Muse's call functionality. Some employees have raised privacy concerns about human customer service handling calls, warning that it could inadvertently lead to sensitive information being disclosed to call center contractors. When asked about the feature, a Meta spokesperson stated that employee feedback has been 'overwhelmingly positive.' The purpose of the test is to 'gather user feedback to refine security and privacy measures and improve related features before the official launch.' The spokesperson added, 'We are working with businesses to continue improving this potential call feature, and it will only be rolled out when the feature is ready and accompanied by appropriate disclosure statements.'
