🐋 WHALE WATCH : Altcoins are having quite an interesting phase right now. OI once climbed close to $80 billion in the final stretch of last year before dropping hard with the market. After that sweep it took this indicator quite a while to recover. But the end of the chart starts looking totally different. OI is bouncing back fast now hovering around $55 to $57 billion while BTC price on the chart has also swung back to the 80K zone. I prefer watching this segment over just staring at altcoin prices. Money and leverage are clearly flowing back into the derivatives market. The next chapter could be a lot of fun if prices keep running but it will hurt pretty bad if this fresh batch of leverage gets swept.
