The title DOESN’T do this justice it should read: “Susan Collins took Bribes; Trump FBI covered it up” -Scott Reed (of the Collins super PAC) raised money from a government contractor illegally via a shell company in exchange for offering government contracts. -He assured the contractor that Collins was aware of who the donation was from. -Kao (the contractors CEO) told the entire scheme to the US attorneys office hoping for leniency. -He provided a ***50-page document*** of details, including emails. -In document he named other GOP staffers and members of Congress who he had bribed via this donation scheme. -Trump had the FBI and US attorneys office drop the investigation.
