[U.S. Stock Securitize Surges 24.3%, Tokenized Stock 'Innovation Exemption' Leads to 67.8% Total Gains]
BlockBeats News, September 22: According to BIT (bit.com) market data, U.S. digital asset tokenization platform Securitize (SECZ) closed up 24.3%, with an additional 3.7% gain in after-hours trading, pushing its stock price above $14. On September 17, the SEC approved 'limited trading of tokenized stocks on on-chain platforms,' and SECZ opened at $8.34 that day. Since then, it has risen over 67.8%.
Securitize is a licensed tokenization infrastructure company in the U.S., founded in 2017, and went public via SPAC in July 2026. The company registers fund shares, private credit, stocks, and other assets as on-chain securities and provides end-to-end services such as transfer agency, brokerage, ATS trading, and fund administration. Its partners include BlackRock (tokenized money market fund BUIDL), Apollo, KKR, and others, with BlackRock being a key client and investor.
Securitize's approach focuses on institutional-grade, shareholder-rights-enabled true securities on-chain, rather than synthetic stock price tokens.
