According to a Financial Times investigation, the Kremlin-backed Russian cross-border payment company A7 has bypassed bank anti-money laundering and sanctions checks by using numerous shell companies and forged invoices. Since the end of 2024, at least $6.9 billion has been funneled into the global banking system, involving institutions like Standard Chartered, Citigroup, DBS, and First Abu Dhabi Bank. Leaked documents also reveal that A7-related accounts sold billions of dollars worth of USDT to Russian buyers. A7 was founded with support from Moldovan oligarch Ilan Shor and Russian state-owned bank Promsvyazbank, and now claims to handle nearly one-fifth of Russia's foreign exchange transactions. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/ft-report-kremlin-backed-a7-fake-docs-bypass-sanctions-sell-billions-usdt-68771
