The briefing noted that related incidents earlier this month included: a drone attack on a training center located on the outskirts of the nuclear power plant, and an attack on diesel fuel shipments intended for emergency generators. Additionally, multiple attacks were reported in the nearby city of Enerhodar, where a large number of nuclear power plant staff reside. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi expressed "deep concern" over these incidents, highlighting that they once again underscore the risks posed by ongoing conflict to nuclear safety as well as to the staff of the nuclear power plant and their families.
